The name ‘Somewhere’ was chosen because of the carefree spirit of travelling it captures. The client also didn’t want to be depicted as a travel agent that handled specific types of travel arrangement for example flight bookings. They preferred to be seen as facilitators of truly magical travel experiences. We therefore felt a magical floating vessel was required to represent how customers would effortlessly be transported to these magical locations.
The final requirement was to capture the fact that Somewhere Travel prefers to send people to places off the beaten track that they have discovered and tested for themselves, hence the lady with the telescope scouting the horizon for new adventure.
